Visit of Prof. Girish Nath Jha, Vice-President for International Affairs, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi to University of Cologne (Germany)

Prof. Girish Nath Jha, Vice-President for International Affairs, Professor of Computational Linguistics and ChairpersonSpecial Center for Sanskrit Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, recently visited University of Cologne (Germany) on 11-12 November 2016, for further talks in intensifying academic cooperation between UoC and JNU.

On arrival, he was greeted by Dr Stefan Bildhauer, Director, International Affairs, University of Cologne, followed by the meeting with the Rector of UoC, Prof. Dr. Axel Freimuth. The meeting was attended by Professors of UoC who either already has ties with JNU and who are interested to initiate academic cooperation with other academic areas in JNU.
