The DWIH promotes innovation and collaboration by planning and hosting events focused on current, topical issues in science and the humanities and by taking part in conferences, science fairs, and career fairs.

The DWIH New Delhi is part of a global network of six centers which are overseen by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The Center is guided by several different bodies on both the local and international levels.
