Arthur Rapp is the Director of the German Centre for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New Delhi and is responsible for its strategic management. At the same time, he is the Director of the DAAD Regional Office in New Delhi, responsible for the coordination and strategic development of DAAD activities in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

Previously, he was the Head of Language Department for Sub-Saharan Africa and Deputy Executive Director at the Goethe-Institut in Johannesburg. He has also served as Head of the DAAD Information Centre in Dushanbe and as a DAAD lecturer at the State Pedagogical University in Dushanbe.

His professional focus and interests include migration and education policy, multilingualism, language and identity, racism, and diversity. Arthur Rapp holds a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics, Hispanic Studies, and Sociology from the University of Hamburg.

Aadishree Jamkhedkar is the team lead and is responsible for over all programme portfolio at the DWIH New Delhi, including concpetualisation and implementation of projects, communication as well as finances. Further, she supports its network development and strategy.

For over a decade, she has driven projects for Indo-German cooperation, working closely with academia, industry and political stakeholders. Her current interests are in science and technology policy and international cooperation for science-based entrepreneurship.

She has an M.Sc. in Life-Sciences from St. Xavier’s College, University of Mumbai. She is trained in intercultural management and German language.

Reny Daniel manages communication activities at DWIH New Delhi, overseeing the website, social media, newsletters and other communication channels. She also supports the team in event coordination.

Prior to joining DWIH, she worked with the Indo-German Science & Technology Centre at the intersection of bilateral programs and communication.

Reny received a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from Delhi University and holds a master’s degree in Environment Management.

Sahil Patil is responsible for the logistical coordination and administration of DWIH New Delhi events and projects. He works closely with the DWIH New Delhi supporters and partner organisations to facilitate the execution of different thematic events.

Prior to this role, he was associated with the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, where he managed the administration of research grants and patents and supported the execution of R&D outreach initiatives and institutional events. He has also worked with the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC), where he was responsible for the administration of bilateral research funding programmes.

Sahil holds a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Karad.

Ananyaa Yadav assists with the logistics and administration of events and projects at DWIH New Delhi. Additionally, she supports communication and outreach activities.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Miranda House, University of Delhi, and is currently pursuing an interdisciplinary master’s degree in social sciences at the University of Freiburg, Germany.

She has previously interned at NITI Aayog and the Paralympic Committee of India, supporting them with research and event organisation.

Dr Riddhi Mahansaria is responsible for the implementation of the initiative DWIH Innovate – Global Pathways for Science-Based Innovation at the DWIH New Delhi. She supports the overall development of the programme, including coordinating events, reporting, communications, and fostering partnerships with scientific institutions and incubators specifically for the programme.

Prior to this role, she briefly served as Chief Executive Officer of the Bio-NEST Incubator at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. She has also worked at the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), IIT Kanpur, where she contributed to entrepreneurship programmes supported by several ministries and on various state government initiatives. Additionally, she was a Programme Manager at the BlueKraft Foundation, where she oversaw the management of the Viksit Bharat Fellowship programme.

Riddhi holds a PhD in Science (Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology) from Jadavpur University and has done post-doctoral research on biopolymers at IIT Guwahati.
