Cross-Border Mobility constitutes one of the most important themes for societies, impacting international cooperation, national politics as well as individual experiences.

In this panel discussion, experts from the Social Sciences and Humanities will provide an interdisciplinary outlook on the theme of Cross-Border Mobility. They will examine the various mechanisms that intersect with different types of cross-border migration, including Law, Labour, Education as well as individual narratives, within the contexts of India, South Asia, Germany and Europe.

Jointly organized by the German Academic Exchange Service, the Max Weber Forum for South Asian Studies and ICAS:MP Metamorphosis of the Political, the symposium will offer a platform for early career researchers to showcase their work in the overarching subject of Cross-Border Mobility.  The event is supported by the German Centre for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New Delhi.
