In the Falling Walls Lab innovative young minds present their research project, business plan, entrepreneurial or social initiative that is relevant to the world of today to a panel of eminent jury and audience in three minutes flat. The winner of the Lab qualifies and gets funded to participate in the Lab Finale in Berlin on 8 November 2017 as one of the 100 international and interdisciplinary participants, and gets a ticket to the international Falling Walls Conference where some of the world’s most prominent scientists present their current breakthrough research.

The Falling Walls Lab India is hosted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German House for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New Delhi and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
