Call for Visiting Researchers by The Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG)
The Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG) invites applications from researchers from the fields of economic sociology and comparative and international political economy. The institution conducts basic research on the governance of modern societies.
The applicants intended research project should relate to the MPIfG’s research program and ongoing projects at the Institute. Other criteria for selection include scholarly excellence and research proposal. On offer are stay for 2-12 months for the upcoming winters semester (starting 1 Oct 2024).
Applicants are expected to provide a plan for their own funding as a part of the application process. Selected candidates will be offered an invitation letter which they can then use to approach relevant funding agencies.
Application deadline is April 30, 2024.
