Academic Spin-offs and International Scaling

This interactive event, part of the Asia-Pacific Dialogue Series of the State of Baden-Württemberg, focuses on sharing best practices, practical insights, and real-world experiences from Baden-Württemberg, India, and Singapore on entrepreneurship and the internationalisation of academic spin-offs, featuring concrete examples from these regions.

Through short impulses and moderated discussions with experts, participants will gain targeted, hands-on insights into support models, internationalisation strategies, and successful cooperation projects – as well as the opportunity to network directly with relevant stakeholders from research, start-ups, and administration.

India and Singapore represent dynamic and complementary innovation environments:
• India offers rapid scaling opportunities in a large and diverse market, strong STEM talent, and impactful entrepreneurship programmes.
• Singapore provides a highly international, well-coordinated innovation ecosystem where research, funding, and market access are closely connected.

At the event, DWIH New Delhi will present the Indian innovation landscape and the practical impulses of Indo-German collaboration in innovation through its Innovators Connect Tandem programme.
