Building Strategic Partnerships for the Spatial Sustainability Transformation: Potentials for Collaborative Indo-German Research
This workshop will gather experts from Germany and India to review, share, and assess common research interests to build strategic partnerships for collaborative research in spatial sustainability transformation, identify potential themes/gaps, with the aim to explore opportunities for future research. Consequently, the event is designed as a workshop that invites active participation and interaction among hand-picked delegates from selected institutions from both countries.
In bringing together experts from Germany and India on the research field of spatial sustainability transformation, the workshop builds on existing interactions and connections of research institutions and universities in Dresden with respective Indian partner organisations. In addition, it will also initiate the establishment of new links to strengthen the network of researchers in the said research field. Furthermore, the intention is to develop a common research agenda by ideating concrete project ideas for collaborative research activities in the future in areas that are on the agenda of both the governments – climate risk and sustainable resource management, climate change adaptation as well as agroecology, sustainable development and sustainable urbanization.
Participation in this workshop is by invitation only.
The event is financially supported by the DWIH New Delhi.
