Enhancing Inclusive Education through Pedagogical Practices, Teacher Education, and the Role of Special Education with a special reference to Gender
The workshop will bring together experts from Germany and India for a cross-cultural dialogue on inclusive education, focusing on pedagogical practices, teacher development, educational systems, and policy reforms aimed at making education more accessible and equitable for all.
It aims to explore how inclusive education can be advanced through effective teaching strategies and teacher training. The discussion will address barriers such as outdated curricula, physical inaccessibility, and inadequate training. Emphasis will be placed on integrating special education into mainstream classrooms to ensure equitable learning opportunities.
The workshop will also reflect on global frameworks like the Salamanca Conference and the Education for All goals. Ultimately, it seeks to foster inclusive, learner-centric environments that support both academic and social development.
Participation in this workshop is by invitation only.
The workshop is financially supported by the DWIH New Delhi.
