Enhancing Indo-German SME Innovation and Technology Cooperation
At this meeting, the author team from the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and DWIH New Delhi, DAAD Regional Office India will introduce the key findings and recommendations of the publication ‘Enhancing Indo-German SME Innovation and Technology Cooperation’.
India and Germany are on a path of renewed acceleration of their innovation and technology partnerships – including in the area of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Against the backdrop of global transformation processes, the need for resilient supply chains, and a growing need for skilled workers, the publication highlights concrete approaches for strategically further developing the bilateral innovation space with the involvement of the SME sector. It provides an overview of the status, presents relevant national funding programmes on both sides, and outlines recommendations on how German and Indian SMEs, together with research institutions, can better unleash cross-border innovative capacity.
