Incubators Connect: Incubation and Internationalisation

During a weeklong program in Germany, directors, and managers of incubators from India and Germany will meet each other and other stakeholders to discuss the internationalisation of incubators and how to take forward the international cooperation between India and Germany. The program will take place onsite at three locations- Karlsruhe, Braunschweig and Berlin and will cover institutional visits, workshops, and meetings with policymakers and relevant institutions.

The following elements are planned-

Workshop in Karlsruhe 05 June 2023: This workshop will focus on institutional frameworks including funding mechanisms and collaboration in innovation networks.

Workshop in Braunschweig 07 June 2023: The workshop at the Entrepreneurship Hub in Braunschweig will focus on discussing opportunities, formats and challenges in international collaboration.

The two workshops will give the leading incubators in Germany and India the opportunity to interact with each other, gain a comprehensive insight into the dynamic start-up systems of both the countries, and discuss the internationalisation of science-based start-ups and technology collaboration.

Institutional visits: During the institutional visits the incubators and their programs for entrepreneurs and start-ups will be presented in order to offer the delegates from India insights into host incubators and to discuss good practices from Germany in the organisation and implementation of incubation programs.

Information sessions/ Meetings with stakeholders: The sessions will offer an overview and insights into the innovation ecosystems, including government initiatives, policies and funding mechanisms.
