India-Upper Rhein Region Softlanding Programme

This programme connects selected Life Science and Deep Tech start-ups from India with the innovation, research and start-up ecosystem of the Upper Rhine Region, where Germany, France and Switzerland meet. The programme is designed for research-driven teams aiming to validate their technology and business model for the European market, building long-term international partnerships, and preparing for their expansion into Europe.

Up to 8 selected teams will gain:

  • Insights into EU regulatory and MDR pathways for Life Sciences, Biotech, and MedTech startups.
  • Understanding of the European innovation ecosystem, including reimbursement, procurement, compliance, and market frameworks.
  • Expert mentoring and case studies on successful India–Europe startup expansion.

  • Matchmaking opportunities with research, innovation partners, and potential collaborators.
