Leibniz Lecture “The Remains of Liberalism”

Leibniz Prize holder Prof. Christoph Möllers (HU Berlin), expert in constitutional law and philosophy of law, will deliver a Leibniz Lecture entitled “The Remains of Liberalism.”

The talk will provide a fresh look at the potentials of liberal theory. It will suggest that liberalism’s main potential lies not in its safeguards for individual action, but in its systemic ability to empower collective political action and social mobility by means of open procedures. The Leibniz Lecture is organized by DFG in conjunction with Azim Premji University and Bangalore International Centre. Its aim is to support academic and other Indo-German encounters.
