University of Cologne
University of Cologne, awarded with the elite status of an Excellent University in the year 2012 by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the German Research Foundation, is existing since the year 1388 and has around 60.000 students studying at present.

University of Cologne in India
The University of Cologne (UoC) India Branch Office in New Delhi was opened in 2009. It serves as a first point of contact for faculty and students both in India and in Cologne. The office organizes UoC delegation visits, summer and winter schools, workshops, conferences and seminars in India. The office also aims to reach out to the University’s network of Indian and German alumni.
Further, the office cultivates relations and new partnerships between UoC and Indian Institutes of Higher Education. The UoC India office also assists on providing internship opportunities and short-term study-abroad in India to German students, during and after their study.
