Indo-German Research Day is an online event that provides a platform for researchers, science managers and stakeholders from diverse research fields from India and Germany to connect for research cooperation as well as dive into discussions on the latest topics in international research and science policy. It showcases the research landscape of India and Germany and presents opportunities for research, funding for individuals and projects facilitated by Indian and German agencies and offers direct connects to representatives of these institutions.
The event is a flagship format of the DWIH New Delhi that is currently in its 4th edition. Check out the last edition of this event on Indo-German Research Day in 2024.
The event has the following elements:
- Panel Discussions: Expert talks and critical takes on themes in international research cooperation including information and perspectives on funding programmes for international cooperation and mobility of researchers. Discussions will also cover the DWIH focus topic of the year “Science for Society”.
- Interactive Sessions: Presentations and 1:1 interaction with representatives of 30+ key research institutions, universities, funding bodies and research promotion agencies. These institutions will present their research portfolio and funding opportunities for individual researchers and projects available for joint research across disciplines.
- Networking: Access to all participants, including experts from panel discussions, researchers, representatives of international research and mobility funding agencies, leading universities, research institutes for 1:1 chat and network expansion.
Target Group: Researchers (PhD and above), academicians, science managers, science administrators, and policy advisors from India and Germany.
